Those Great Moments

Don't you all just love kids, more specially if those kids belong to you. When we had our first babies, it was a new level for us as individuals. And we learned lots of new things on being the so called "Parents". Parenting is a continuous responsibility and can never be turned off. Back when we were children, we probably never understand why our parents made some questionable actions for us but once we take that step on being a parent, we knew that we'll soon understand a lot of things, we knew there is something new to learn. We knew things and we begun to be afraid sometimes. Afraid of the bad things we did that could come back to us from our children.

What once was a game is now a reality for us. As a child, every Filipino (atleast from my generation up to our ancestors) had their moments as a child playing "Bahay-bahayan". Bahay-bahayan is a child's game where a girl pretends to be a mother and a boy pretends to be a father while anybody could pretend as their child.

Even though some people had their disagreements with their parents, in the end they imitate their parents once they step on their parent's footsteps. It is a never-ending life-cycle for everyone.
I guess what I'm really trying to say here is that those moments, those childhood moments we had may not be something to cherish but those will define us someday as a parent if we knew what lesson to get from it which makes it actually GREAT!
We may had difficulty understanding our parents before but it was those difficulties that made parenting easier for us when we start to apply what we've learned from them. And in the process, we become them - we became PARENTS.
