June 11, 2012 - My sister/brother-in-law took us to Souq Waqif in Doha. It was a blast from the past moment and we got to see Doha during its old times. The place was awesome and quite crowded with people and some tourists. It has a touch of tradition mixed with modern architecture. Although the place is crawling with famous and branded shops, they still maintained its traditional and elegant style.
If you like to buy collectible traditional stuffs like swords, jewelries, art decors, house decorations, murals, textiles, etc. then this is the right place to go to. Although it was so hot during that time, we endured it just to have an experience. It was fun and we enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Here are our pictures.

Maganda pala dyan sa Doha. From New Caledonia ako :)
Wow! New Caledonia, France. It's a nice place din. If ever you visited Doha Qatar, you'll find they are currently developing their country's features mostly in Sports and Education pero while doing that ay beautification din coz they are bidding for International Sports events. We are not from Qatar but my in-laws live and work there.
Thanks for visiting. God bless.
