You Are More Valuable Than Them!

I have a confession to make. This past few months I am quite troubled. Our company is not quite doing well. It's been 4 months that we are always delayed in getting our salary. I know I am still blessed compared to other people who don't get their salaries for over 6 months but still the thought of our company being on a lot of setbacks gives me uneasiness and I don't feel at peace.

Some of you may not know this because of the words of encouragement I post here on my blog. Reality is, I am human and I still feel fear. That is also the reason I am blogging encouraging words, it is not just to encourage my readers but me as well. Instead of setting myself apart and doing drastic measures to solve my problem, I read the Bible and find peace and encouragement. That is why my words of encouragement does have some punches - I try to punch myself and make myself realize how valuable I am to God.

Do I really know how valuable am I to God? Guess not, coz I am not at peace lately. I guess the feeling of guilt made me feel this way. Guilt of hating our accountant of telling lies on when we are going to receive our salaries, guilt of not trusting the Lord. But all things work together for good to all those who love God (Romans 8:28). I asked God for forgiveness on that and I pray all things will be well soon. I still haven't received my salary but thanks to God for touching my wife's finance department and gave her long awaited salary which is also delayed by the way.

How valuable are we to God?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? - Matt 6:26

The bible tells us, God loves these birds that don't even sow nor reap nor stock, how much more we/us His children?

So the next time we feel unblessed, look at the birds and ask yourself - Am I more valuable than these birds?

I took the photo last Wednesday, on my way to a Star grocery store while waiting for the "sala" to finish (Prayer time for Muslim people). This was taken in Balad area, in front of McDonalds.

God has a plan for you a plan to prosper... Though sometime I ask for his forgiveness by doubting. But believe and we receive. maybe there is more greener opportunity. we never know what at the end of the rainbow.

Thanks for sharing those words of wisdom from the bible.

Your image is just perfect for the message that you want to convey to your readers.

I echoe Life Moto's comment. Ask and you shall receive and I believe that everything happens for a reason...sometimes that reason can be better and fruitful.

By the way, aside from granting your request ;), am following you now para tuloy-tuloy ang chikahan :)

A blessed weekend to you.

@lifemoto - thanks for dropping by. Thanks for more comforting words. Your right if we believe we'll receive.

@misalyn - thanks for following. It is truly fruitful because now I am MORE dependent on God than ever. Coz I know no one can fix my problem except God himself.

@drake - maligayang pagbabalik, oo nga medyo emo ako hehe. Wala ka kasi kaya hayan, wala akong comics na mabasa hehehe! (Ginawa pa daw Funny Comics hehehe!)

I MAY NOT KNOW WHAT IS AHEAD OF ME, BUT I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY FUTURE.

Actually, there's more into that na di ko na sinabi. Kasi sa debts ng aming company sa bank, I'm not saying hundred thousands but millions of riyals ay parang delikado ang company. I'm not sure kung makaka-recover sila pero I know naman na di kami pababayaan ni Lord whatever happens in the future.

@roanne - thanks for more encouraging words. I know naman where ever I go, what ever steps I make, God is with me.

Thanks to all who visited.
